Design of Bicycle Accessories for Tacx

At npk design, Joanna contributed to several designs for Tacx, a leading producer of high-quality bicycle accessories. These designs, including a water bottles, bottle cage, and home-trainer accessories, are inspired by movement and the dynamic nature of cycling-sport.
Flowing, curvilinear forms emphasize speed and motion. VR computers appear perched on the handlebars, ready for action, while the integrated brake unit gives the impression of a back wheel slicing through it at high speed. The arched front wheel support doubles as a carrying handle, blending function and style to enhance the home-training experience.
The bold and functional design of the Shiva water bottle has made it a cycling icon, widely used to promote brands. Tacx’s Bushido trainers and accessories are not only favorites for home training but are also used by teams during the Tour de France and La Vuelta.

Joanna and Hanno have created many custom housing designs for electronics products. See what they designed for Quantified Sensor Technology and for Etag.
