About Groen Boothman

Design-led.
Process-driven.

Groen Boothman is a product design studio in Amsterdam for industrial design and product development of physical products.

We design, develop and advise from early concept to production-ready detail, combining form, engineering, materials knowledge and production logic.

Our work spans hardware, mobility, lighting, luxury, public space and soft goods, bringing form, engineering, materials and production logic together to create products with clarity, character and lasting value.

We work hands-on, closely and directly. That means ideas are tested early, decisions stay grounded, and design intent is carried through from the first sketch to the final detail.

Form &
engineering

considered together

For us, form is never separate from how something works, how it is made, or how it will be used.

Every decision is shaped by material behaviour, production logic, ergonomics, market understanding and visual clarity.

This approach allows us to move fluidly between concept, design development and technical detailing, keeping the product coherent from first idea to final execution.

Hands-on.
Focused.
Closely involved.

We work with companies, founders and teams who want to create physical products with clarity, precision and character.

Whether the challenge is an early idea, a product that needs refinement, or a design that has to move towards production, we can help shape the next step.
