Uiteraard moeten de borden herkenbaar zijn, maar tevens mogen ze de omgeving niet domineren. Ze moeten onder alle omstandigheden in \u00e9\u00e9n oogopslag leesbaar zijn, vandalisme bestendig zijn, goed tegen verschillende weersinvloeden kunnen en bij voorkeur tijdloos zijn om lang mee te kunnen gaan.   <\/p>\n<p>Om de borden, waarvan zowel elektronische- als statische versies bestaan, een onderscheidend gezicht te geven wat past bij de stad Utrecht is gekozen voor twee dunne in plaats van \u00e9\u00e9n dikke bevestigingspaal. Door daarnaast slechts op subtiele wijze in het ontwerp af te wijken van reeds bestaande Nederlandse bewegwijzeringsborden is de functie van de borden in \u00e9\u00e9n oogopslag duidelijk waarbij de leesbaarheid is gewaarborgd door de keuze voor een helder lettertype. <\/p>\n<p>Het systeem is inmiddels jaren in gebruik en te vinden in en om de stad Utrecht.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Joanna en Hanno hebben aan meerdere succesvolle projecten gewerkt voor de openbare ruimte, zoals de <a href=\"https:\/\/groenboothman.com\/projects\/design-evolution-of-an-icon-the-next-generation-dutch-twin-letterbox\/\">Dutch national letterbox<\/a>, <a
